Hydraulic brake cylinders, main mounting dimensions according to ISO 15552 (replaced ISO 6431 VDMA)

Materials: Cover, bottom and tube: anodized aluminium, piston rod: hard chromium plated steel, piston: aluminium with magnetic ring, seals: NBR / Polyurethane
Temperature range: -10°C to max. +80°C
Operating pressure: 1 to 10 bar
Movement speed: 40 - 6000 mm/min (depending on cylinder diameter and valves installed)
The following control elements can be combined for the forward and return stroke as desired:
1: Speed control: The speeds of extension and retraction can be regulated by adjusting the choke spindle. You can choose between the standard flow control (Setting done using several rotations) and the scaled bi-directional flow control valve (Setting on a scale of 0 to 270°).
2: STOP valve: The movements of extension and retraction can be stopped or blocked by using this valve. If the valve is open, the cylinder travels at the set speed. If it is closed, the cylinder remains at its current position. As a standard, the valve is delivered closed (NC) and with its basic settings. The controller could be pneumatic or electric. Application example: Positioning of the cylinder
3: SKIP valve: Using this valve allows the stroke to travel at two different speeds. With the valve open, the cylinder travels rapidly, while with the valve being closed, it travels at a speed set using the bi-directional flow control valve. As a standard, the valve is delivered closed (NC) and with its basic settings. The controller could be pneumatic or electric. Application example: The drilling unit travels rapidly up to the point where the drill touches the workpiece. Drilling then takes place at a slower set speed.
Advantages: •The hydraulic brake cylinder is. delivered complete with all the required control valves and ready to be connected, •Installation dimensions according to ISO 6431 VDMA, •Magnetic piston (up to piston Ø 100 mm) and adjustable end position damping are standard, •Using the integrated hydraulic brake in the hollow piston rod, the insertion and retraction speed of the cylinder can be controlled almost independently of the load, •The main mounting dimensions and technical features (magnetic pistons and adjustable end position damping) therefore meet the requirements of a standard profile cylinder in accordance with ISO 6431 VDMA, •To mount the cylinder standard fastening material can be used in accordance with ISO 15552,
•small, compact installation dimensions as no external brake unit is required, •the modular design allows a variety of control options for the forward and return strokes through a combination of flow control valves, STOP valves and SKIP valves.
